Welcome to Sophitorium Engineering College

         SEC offers a first-hand model of higher education that is harmonized in its innovative approach. We are committed to offer the next generation of intra and interdisciplinary specialisations in the domain of technology and engineering.

         We allow students the freedom to pick subjects or research of their interest. We are in verge to build a participatory teaching and learning system. Our approach is never meant to fit students into conventional curriculum structure that is out of sync with the industry. Our students are our assets. We consider them as social capital. The new learning approaches make the students to look beyond classrooms and to receive an application-based education from faculties with broad academic and industry experience.

         Apart from that a project-based approach to learning is implemented at SEC. It is to ensure that students get to work on perplexing problems throughout their academic journey. We help the students to decipher those problems as opportunities.

         We believe there is a call to adjustment in the conventional engineering programmes. It needs to integrate with syllabus that addresses the challenges of 21st century. Those may be societal, environmental and technological.

         As the world of education changes in a dynamic way, our online academic engagement becomes regular. SEC is committed to expand its collaborations on research and scholarships in engineering and sciences in its future endeavour.
